Boldly go where..

Ulysses (Matt Damon) in the movie of the same (The Odyssey) name wins the Trojan War through deception .. but is it his guilt or his sense of adventure.. the irresistible draw of the unconquered unknown.. that draws him to perhaps the most perilous discretionary voyage in the history of mythology. While wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) fends off suitors, and son Telemachus (Tom Holland) shows all the hesitancy of coming of age, our protagonist, in spite of the close counsel of Athena (Zendaya), careens from one tragedy to the other - Circe to Calypso (Charilze Thereon) of the lotus eaters, to the terror of the multi headed Scylla and the whirlpool Charybdis. Nolan brings the same grayscale and foreboding as Interstellar, while the many oil lamps and rough hewn architecture detract from any insinuation of "too much special effects". Overall a great movie and a must watch, but not one of the soul stirring Interstellar types that truly stand the test of time

Sometimes you approach a low budget movie with very little expectation with regard to outcomes. CTRL (hindi) on Netflix was one such movie for me.

Nella (Ananya Panday) stars as the inseparable better half of the couple made up by Nella and Joe (Vihaan Samat) .. Together they are the rocking influencer couple whose lives suddenly get upended when Nella discovers that Joe has been cheating on her. Post, which things take an ugly turn when netlla works at removing all traces of Joe from her life, through an app called atom, which in turn is affiliated to a tech giant with fairly nefarious ends.Where ctrl  succeeds in execution is basically the level of content that has been shown in virtually every frame of the movie ...  in terms of the density of reels and shorts  and subject matter, it appears as though no expense was spared to make this a fairly realistic experience for the audience. Overall, I would call this a sleeper semi hit and worth a watch for sure, if only for one viewing.
